Welcome to the Navy Running Association
The Navy Running Association is for Royal Australian Navy (currently serving and retired) and Australian Public Service personnel who are interested in becoming involved in Navy Running, and participating in both civilian and defence running events throughout Australia and overseas. The Navy Running Association is committed to the promotion of physical fitness while developing esprit de corps through team competition.
Runners are encouraged to challenge themselves as well as enjoying the sport and what it will bring to participants. Such outcomes are an intrinsic part of an effective fighting force as well as aiding personal wellbeing.
Our Mission is to promote the sport of running within the Navy community and encourage all Navy personnel to challenge themselves in athletic pursuits.
ONLINE REGISTRATIONS: You can now register for the NRA right here on this website. Simply navigate to the 'Online Registrations' page, fill in a few questions and you're on your way. Not long after submitting your application, you will receive an e-mail from the NRA Membership Officer welcoming you onboard and will be provided with a few more details related to your membership.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING:The NRA is a fantastic association, led by an enthusiastic and motivated committee of navy personnel and Australian public servants. On the Friday 17th September 2010, the NRA will be holding their AGM at HMAS ALBTROSS. You may self-nominate without a Seconder, but if you are nominating someone else, we will require their e-mail acceptance of the nomination.
Note: because this is primarily an electronic meeting that will be conducted by e-mail, there will be no 'other items' considered at the end of the AGM; ie- if it isn't an agenda item, it won't be considered. We do this to ensure that everyone has the same opportunity to consider and vote on issues. As such, if you have an issue you want to raise, please submit it as an agenda item with talking points.
This is your opportunity to have your say on how the Association is managed.

You are encouraged to get involved in the management of your association and nominate for committee positions. We ask for maximum participation in voting on the election of officer bearers and agenda items.
Please forward your nominations and agenda items to the Returning Officer, CPOPT Schofield:
