Welcome to the Navy Running Association

FACEBOOK.  The NRA Facebook page is up and running. Type Navy Running Association into the Facebook search bar and request to join the group. By joining the group you can interact with other NRA members, find out about NRA events and civilian running events, and post any queries about the NRA or running in general. You can also post running event photo's on the page.

UPCOMING EVENTS.  Details of upcoming events are in the schedule on the Downloads page.

PURCHASE OF RUNNING KIT.  Details of running kit that can be purchased is provided at the Downloads page.  The Committee has also agreed that specialised running kit (eg that for the North Face 100 and similar events) may be purchased privately by the individual and will be screen printed for free (providing that the tops are in navy blue and the bottoms in navy blue or black).  For further information or to place an order, members should e-mail navysport.running@defence.gov.au with Kit Purchase as the subject.

REIMBURSEMENT OF COSTS.  As per the Handbook, all claims (together with appropriate documentation) must be submitted to the Treasurer within 3 calendar months of the event, or any entitlement will be deemed to have expired.  Members are urged to review the Handbook, which is on the Downloads page.  Note that for any reimbursement you MUST wear Navy Running kit.  Requests for funding approval should be sent BEFORE the event to navysport.running@defence.gov.au with Event Participation as the subject. 

ONLINE REGISTRATIONS: You can register for the NRA at the 'Online Registrations' page; fill in a few questions and you're on your way. Not long after submitting your application, you will receive an e-mail from the NRA Membership Officer welcoming you onboard and will be provided with a few more details related to your membership.
